Paused — not operating

Modulexo is paused.

The system has been designed and built, but it is not operating. This is a deliberate choice, not a holding pattern: Modulexo will not run until a clean regulatory foundation exists for it to run within. Nothing here is live, on offer, or open to participation, and no funds should be sent anywhere in connection with Modulexo.

Why pause something that works

There is a real gap around dormant, delisted, and illiquid tokens. Regulation can act at the perimeter — preventing new dead assets from forming. A voluntary, market-side tool could, in principle, remediate the ones already stranded in permissionless space that no rulebook reaches. One prevents; the other would remediate. But the remediation side is only worth building if it is built honestly, and that is a research-and-pilot proposition — not a product to ship ahead of its foundations.

The principles any future version must satisfy before it operates

These are non-negotiable. If any one of them fails, the responsible answer is not to launch.

  1. 1Externally funded, never participant-funded

Any reward must come from outside the pool of participants. A system that pays earlier participants from later participants' money is the pattern to avoid, not to optimise.

  2. 2Non-custodial, end to end

Value must never pass through the operator. The holder's own keys execute; the tool orchestrates and advises only. This is the line between a legitimate tool and the recovery-scam genre, which almost always begins by asking the victim to deposit first.

  3. 3Honest valuation and closure, not revival hope

The tool must succeed when it correctly tells most people their token is worth nothing. Its job is honest assessment and closure — not farming hope.

  4. 4Marketed as cleanup and closure, never as returns

Salvage, closure, and a public anti-fraud commons — never yield, returns, or recovery promises.

Where the work continues

For now the work is research and writing — on the regulatory gap, on honest approaches to dead-asset remediation, and on the conditions above. You can follow it here:
